プライバシーポリシー

Last updated: 18 October 2026

This policy explains what information The Ghoulish Garb LLC ("The Ghoulish Garb", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our online store at theghoulishgarb.com (the "Store") and our tarot app, Terror Tarot: Hermit's Lantern (the "App"). Questions: support@theghoulishgarb.com.

Part A: The Store

What we collect. When you browse the Store we receive information about your device and visit: browser, IP address, time zone, the pages and products you view, and how you arrived. We collect it with cookies, log files and similar tags. When you order, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number and payment details.

How we use it. To fulfil and ship orders, process payment, send order confirmations, screen orders for fraud, answer you, and, where you have agreed, tell you about new products. We use visit information to understand how the Store is used and to improve it.

Who we share it with. Shopify, which runs the Store (shopify.com/legal/privacy); payment processors; shipping carriers; and analytics and advertising services such as Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and of personalised ads in your Google and Meta account settings.

Do Not Track. The Store does not change its behaviour when it receives a Do Not Track signal.

How long we keep it. Order records are kept for our accounting and legal obligations, then deleted. You can ask us to delete other Store data at any time.

Part B: The App

Your account. To sign in we collect your email address, or receive it from Google or Apple when you choose those, and your display name. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider; we never see them.

Your journal. Your readings (questions, the cards drawn, interpretations, your notes, threads and recorded outcomes) are stored on your device and backed up to your account so they follow you to another device. To improve the App and its readings, we review saved readings with your name, email and account removed; this review may use our AI service provider, under the same terms as your readings. You control it in Settings › Your Account › Help improve readings: it starts on, except in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, where it is off unless you turn it on. While it is off, your readings are left out of any review. Apart from that, support sees an entry only if you send it to us.

Readings. When you ask for a reading, your question, the cards drawn and your local time are sent securely to our server, which uses a third-party AI service provider to write the reading and returns it to the App. The App asks for your permission before your first reading. Your name and email are not sent with it. The provider may use this information only to prepare your reading and does not use it to train its models. We keep a count of the readings you have used so we can apply the reading allowance.

Purchases. Premium is sold through the App Store or Google Play. They handle payment; we never see your card. We use RevenueCat to confirm which account holds a subscription. We receive whether Premium is active, the plan, and when it renews or ends.

Settings. Preferences such as edition, motion and your avatar card are stored on your device.

What the App does not do. No advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites, no selling or renting of data, no data brokers, no analytics or crash-reporting tools.

Service providers. Google Firebase and Google Cloud (sign-in, journal backup, our reading server), Apple and Google (sign-in options and purchases), RevenueCat (subscription status) and our AI service provider (readings). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it. Your account and journal are kept until you delete them. To delete one journal entry, open the Journal, press on the left just under the cards, pull down, then swipe up: it is removed from your device and your backup. Deleting your account removes your account, journal backup and reading count immediately.

Deleting some of your data. To have your journal backup deleted but keep your account, email support@theghoulishgarb.com from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my data"; we do it within 30 days. Details: theghoulishgarb.com/pages/delete-account#delete-data.

Deleting your account. In the App: Settings → Your Account → Delete Account. Without the App: theghoulishgarb.com/pages/delete-account, or email support@theghoulishgarb.com from the address on the account. We delete it within 30 days of confirming the request. Purchase records held by Apple or Google are kept by them under their own policies; cancel a subscription in your store account.

Part C: Both

Your rights. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email support@theghoulishgarb.com and we will answer within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined in California law.

International transfers. We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere, with safeguards required by law.

Security. Data is encrypted in transit, and access to the App's stored data is limited to your own signed-in account.

Children. The Store and the App are not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes. We will post changes here and update the date above. Material changes to the App's handling of your data will also be announced in the App.
