Pulled from the Shadow deck

Card 1 · To Embrace

The Sun Shadow · upright

The Sun shows what to embrace today. The Witch's Altar stripped of its warm candlelight, what remains is pure form and intention. Today asks you to embrace that same quality of intentionality. The radiance is still there, it simply asks to be found in the structure of things rather than their surface. Approach today with deliberate intention rather than waiting for inspiration to arrive.

Card 2 · To Release

The Devil Shadow · reversed

The Devil reveals what to release. Baphomet's gaze in stark black and white, the loose chains impossible to ignore. What you are being asked to release is something you already know is holding you. The chains are loose. Make the decision today to remove what you already know is no longer serving you.

Card 3 · To Remember

The Star Shadow · upright

The Star carries the day's lesson. The Siren's form all curve and stillness, the raven finding its way toward the largest star. You are being guided even when the warmth of color is stripped away. The stars remain. Trust the direction you are already moving in.

Summary

The altar is set, the chains are loose, and the star is visible. Everything you need today is already within reach. Move toward the light.

How to read it

Shuffle while you hold your question, then lay the cards out in order, from left to right. Read each card through its position first, then read the spread as one story.

Mixing both decks? Color cards show energy that is present and visible. Shadow cards show energy that is present but not yet seen. A color card tells you what is. A Shadow card asks what you haven’t seen yet.
