Pulled from both decks combined

Card 1 · Crossroads

The Hanged Man Shadow · upright

The Hanged Man shows where you stand. The Marionette suspended on the dilapidated stage, cobwebs forming. You have been suspended between two lives longer than you realize. The stillness has become familiar. Decide whether you are hanging by choice or whether it is simply time to cut the strings.

Card 2 · First Path

The Emperor Original · upright

The Emperor reveals the first path. Dracula on his throne, mountains behind him, the world in his hand. This path offers real authority, real stability, and a timeless foundation. The security here is genuine. Choose this path with your heart and eyes open, not out of fear.

Card 3 · Second Path

The Fool Original · upright

The Fool reveals the second path. The Jester at the precipice, carefree and unburdened, the mountains behind him not yet noticed. This path is radiant with possibility and terrifying in equal measure. The fall is possible. And yet the Fool has never been more alive. Choose this path knowing the mountains are real and trusting yourself to climb them with purpose and a commitment to growth.

Card 4 · The Unseen

The Devil Shadow · upright

The Devil uncovers what you are not seeing. Baphomet in black and white, the loose chains unmistakable. The chains keeping you from your decision are looser than you believe. Fear and comfort have convinced you that you are more bound than you actually are. Look at the chains directly. What is actually holding you?

Card 5 · The Compass

The Chariot Original · upright

The Chariot points the way forward. The Mummy standing focused, driving opposing forces in a single unified direction. This reading is not telling you which path to take. It is telling you that whichever path you choose, you are capable of commanding it completely. Stop asking which path and start trusting the one holding the reins.

How to read it

Shuffle while you hold your question, then lay the cards out in order, from left to right. Read each card through its position first, then read the spread as one story.

Mixing both decks? Color cards show energy that is present and visible. Shadow cards show energy that is present but not yet seen. A color card tells you what is. A Shadow card asks what you haven’t seen yet.
