Card 4 · The Knot

The Devil Shadow · upright

The Devil reveals the knot. Baphomet's gaze in black and white, the loose chains unmistakable. The core challenge is not malice or incompatibility. It is the unexamined patterns where dependency, comfort, and unspoken fears have quietly taken root. Look honestly at what neither of you has been willing to examine.

Card 5 · The Way

Temperance Original · upright

Temperance points the way forward. The Crying Angel with her two goblets, the winding path. This relationship finds its strength through balance, flow, and the willingness to tend to it over time. There is no dramatic resolution needed. Keep pouring from one vessel to the other and trust the path.

Summary

The love between you is not in question. The willingness to see clearly is.

How to read it

Shuffle while you hold your question, then lay the cards out in order, from left to right. Read each card through its position first, then read the spread as one story.

Mixing both decks? Color cards show energy that is present and visible. Shadow cards show energy that is present but not yet seen. A color card tells you what is. A Shadow card asks what you haven’t seen yet.
